Architecture

25 October 2026

Faster contact details on returns, smoother workspace switching and more control over where a return sits in its workflow.

New

  • Phone numbers for team members. Add an optional phone number when you create or edit a user, on the team page and in Customer Support Partner workspaces.
  • Optional contact phone requirement. Tenants can choose to require a contact phone number before a return is submitted. Switch it on in Settings, Returns. It is off by default.
  • Edit the return contact without leaving the return. A new Edit contact button lets the right people update the main contact's name, email and phone from the return page. Changes apply to that person's profile everywhere and are recorded in their history.
  • Move a return back a step. Use Other actions on a return to move it back to the previous status. You add an internal reason; any pricing already entered is kept, and the move is shown in the return history.
  • Search your workspaces. If you work across several workspaces, find the one you need straight from the workspace switcher.

Improved

  • Faster, more reliable workspace switching. Moving between workspaces is now quicker and more dependable.
  • Clearer return submission. The contact phone number now has its own line in the submit dialog and the return address box, with a hint when it is missing.
  • Know why Submit is unavailable. If the Submit button is greyed out, hover over it to see why, such as a missing phone number.
  • Easier-to-read return history. Every status in the return history now shows a clear, readable label.
  • Fault codes ready to use straight away. Fault codes you add during inspection are active immediately, with no extra step.
  • Clearer customer view during inspection. Replacement product details now appear to customers only once a return has been sent for approval.
  • Minor polish to the comments box and the Submit return button.
  • Security and dependency updates.

15 October 2026

Quicker goods-in and faster ways to work through large returns.

New

  • Search inside a return. Filter the items on a return by serial number, SKU or comment, and see how many items match.
  • Mark all received. Mark every item on a return as received in one go during goods-in, or mark individual items as not received. Each change is recorded in the return history.
  • Keyboard shortcuts for adding items. Press n to add a new item to a return, or q to repeat the last item you added.

Improved

  • Item counts on your overview. The awaiting inspection card now shows how many items are waiting, as well as how many returns.
  • Return labels with the right branding. Labels now always carry the branding of the workspace that owns the return.
  • Repair history from day one. Each repair's history now starts with the date the product was added to TrackQUAL.
  • A helpful Page not found screen that matches the rest of TrackQUAL.
  • Neutral example text on partner, repairs and product screens.

30 September 2026

Two new languages, more flexible return addresses and better visibility of customer activity.

New

  • Canadian English and Canadian French. TrackQUAL is now available in English (Canada) and French (Canada), alongside English (UK), English (US), French, German and Dutch.
  • Customer home page in each language. Write your customer home page welcome content in each language you support, with English (UK) as the main version.
  • Return address choices. When setting a return address, pick your default return location, a saved customer address or a one-off address. A contact email is now recommended rather than required.
  • Invite customers and see their latest activity. Invite customers individually or in bulk from the customers list, then see at a glance who has signed in, been invited or been sent a password reset.

Improved

  • See where each repair came from. The repairs list now shows whether a repair started from a return or was logged directly, and flags repairs with no customer ID.
  • Clearer duplicate warnings. When a fault code or repair type name is already in use, including by an inactive entry, the message now tells you exactly why.
  • Email verification prompt. If your email address still needs verifying, the billing page now tells you and lets you resend the email.
  • More accurate connection status. TrackQUAL checks your connection before showing an offline message, so you see fewer false alerts.
  • Tidier received report. The printed received report is cleaner and easier to read.
  • Quicker set-up for customers and locations with new action menus.
  • Improved account sign-in options and reliability.
  • Security and dependency updates.

26 August 2026

Faster search across TrackQUAL, from anywhere in the app.

New

  • Quick search. Press / or Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) to search from anywhere, or simply start typing an RMA, serial number or reference.
  • Fault code search during inspection. Find the right fault code quickly with a search box in the inspection dialog when you have a longer list of codes.

Improved

  • Better search results. Results open straight to the return, item or repair. Repairs can be found by their previous or new serial number, and if nothing matches you can start a new return or repair for that product right away.
  • Help docs grouped into series so related guides are easier to follow.
  • Security and dependency updates.
